The Division of Student Affairs supports the educational mission of the University and enables student success through services, programs and experiences that extend learning, support health and wellness, and enhance personal development. The Division fosters an inclusive community, student engagement and active and responsible citizenship.

Proceeds from this year’s tournament will support the Division of Student Affairs’ two Students First Funds.

Students First Fund – Emergency Fund
Students who have experienced an unanticipated hardship may receive a gift through the fund to help ease the burden they may be experiencing. By providing resources in time of need, the Students First Fund allows the Division of Student Affairs to demonstrate the care and concern they have for students, reminding them that they are an important and valuable part of the UConn community.

Students First Fund – Community Service
This fund allows students, through the Office of Community Outreach, to help others through alternative break service, weekly service programs in the local community, and special service projects. The funds raised allow us to enhance the students’ experiences by increasing leadership and training opportunities, making service trips more affordable, and expanding the number of initiatives available to students.
